Local-first product design
TrackSync's core audio synchronization runs locally on your Mac. The plugin does not send media files, waveform data, Resolve timeline data, or sync analysis data to TrackSync servers. The plugin contacts the TrackSync licensing service to activate and validate the software license key.
Categories of personal data
- Purchase and billing identifiers received from Stripe and Link, plus TrackSync license identifiers.
- License activation instance ID, instance label, hashed device identifier, license validation timestamps, and license status.
- Support communication and troubleshooting information you choose to provide.
- Aggregated website analytics from Simple Analytics without analytics cookies, IP address collection, fingerprinting, or device identifiers.
- Website security logs.
- License or download records if needed for delivery and fraud prevention.

Recipients and processors
TrackSync may use service providers for hosting, privacy-first analytics, transactional email, support, payment processing, and file delivery. Stripe and Link process buyer and transaction data under their own terms as part of Managed Payments. Simple Analytics is used for aggregate website analytics without analytics cookies, IP address collection, fingerprinting, or device identifiers.
License and activation records are normally retained while the perpetual license remains active and for a limited security or legal period afterward. Completed payment webhook records contain a minimized technical envelope, not the full Stripe payment payload. A deletion request can affect future license verification where the requested record is necessary to prove or operate the license.
International transfers
Service providers may process data in countries outside your location. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or provider compliance frameworks should be used.
Data subject rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where those rights apply. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
